For my major project, I decided to focus on the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, a sect of Islam which faces persecution in Pakistan and prejudice in the UK.

In 2016, a member of this community, Asad Shah, was murdered in Glasgow as a result of this prejudice. 'Ahmadiyyat After Asad' follows a group of Ahmadis as they explore the impact of his death ten years on.

Through the interviewees' stories and personal experiences of persecution and prejudice in Pakistan and the UK, 'Ahmadiyyat After Asad' sheds light on the aftermath of religious violence and its effect on faith.
